From what I tried, the discount works when buying:
-Two Sync boxes ($321.99)
-Sync box + (BLACK ONLY) Play Light Bar Double Pack ($265.99)
-Sync box + 75" Play Gradient Light Strip ($356.99)
-Sync box + 65 " Play Gradient Light Strip ($335.99)
-Sync box + 55" Play Gradient Light Strip ($$321.99)
Does this thing pass 2.1? I've discovered my modern LG soundbar that released the same year as my CX OLED won't pass 120fps / 4k Dolby vision and atmos at the same time. It's frustrating and now I am really reluctant to bite on anything that adds complexity to my setup
I use two hue color bulbs and hue sync (hues pc software) behind my 34" ultra wide gaming monitor which syncs the lights to the color of the screen and it's super immersive. When playing the division 2 and there was fire on the screen, the lights would flicker the same color behind the monitor. Again this is just two hue color bulbs so this ambient strip would be much better for this

No, it does not. Waiting for an updated version of the hdmi box because of this
The discount also works when buying the gradient strips with any other light strips. So if you just want the gradient strip try adding a 40" indoor light strip extension ($25) and you should see the discount.
That gradient strip is some of the most over priced piece of crap out there. Just tried it out for the last few days and returned it. Went back to regular hue light strips.
They are RGBIC, without the Sync Box they are practically useless. But agreed, still - $200+ for some shit that cost 5 dollars to manufacturer is beauty and cosmetics level of greed.

Kind of like saving this cancer pill only cost $5 to make, why am I charged $1000? Philips had to engineer the sync box and system, and they've done an elegant job. Sure, some Chinese company will take that IP , copy it, and sell it for cost of manufacture plus a small margin. But if no one paid for the cost of development, we would have far fewer nice things in this world.

Huh? People do active bias lighting using Raspberry Pis.
The tech Phillips has developed isn't some brainchild of a progressive giant in the tech world.
In fact they aren't even the first.
Dreamscene and HdFury both developed products before this. In fact if you have such a hard-on to support the work of actual engineers you would buy the HDFury Diva. Which was doing what the Hue Sync barely started doing, passing Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos years before.
Your simping for this device shows how ignorant you are regarding products in this space.
Edit: I would like to add that you also didn't comprehend I was talking about the lightstripes being $200+ as evident by the first sentence I used in my reply.
And there is no way you can justify the lightstripe being that cost - Phillips did not developed that technology in any capacity.
I mean, you understand you just defended their Sync Box tech and somehow the fact the LED portion of the system costs more has escaped that big brain of yours.

Oh please. Your TV has four inputs and you only need one to support the 4K120. So plug your game console in directly into your TV and your sound bar will work just fine over eARC. That's why there's an eARC feature — so every little update to HDMI won't obsolete your audio devices.

I mean it isn't unreasonable to expect a $300 device to do everything
