Best Buy's chat price matching process has become brutally long now. It took me 45 minutes last time to price match a game. I know not everyone is trained for all the products they sell but still. It's a apple to apple match

Exactly my thoughts. Finally got to the end and the rep sent me the secure link to pay and when I clicked it had the wrong price and someone else's information was pre-populated in the info boxes.

Unless it's an absolute favorite all time must have game and you've exhausted your game backlog, waiting 6-12 months is definitely the way to go. Just between Cyberpunk 2077 for $5 used a couple days ago and this game purchased today, that's $98 savings over MSRP. Do that a few more times and you've about paid for a new gaming console.

After about 30 min of chat, finally got price matched. First they priced matched $19.99, but told them the website has it for $16.99. Then they priced matched to $16.99.
