Been like this since prior to Black Friday. Hoping it drops to $169 like the caulk gun and rotary tool did the week after Black Friday.

How does that caulk gun compare to the ryobi one?

I have both brands and the cost delta is huge. As a home owner I'm assuming ryobi is good enough?

The Ryobi caulk gun is $50 tool-only at home depot. I just bought it to caulk some driveway cracks and it was well worth it. It's a little clunky but so much faster. Going to do windows and other projects. I have Milwaukee M12 system too but value proposition is better with ryobi esp for homeowner.

serious question... What possible difference could an electric caulk gun make over a hand held one?

I legit can not see anyway in my head that an electric trigger would be any different then a mechanical trigger in this situation.

Electric allows you to have a continuous even stream of caulk instead of having to let off on the trigger and reset every few inches like you have to do with mechanical ones. Just makes big jobs a little faster.

Let's not ignore the lack of hand cramping using these. Lol.

Is this hackable? I only need the caulk gun, can I return the other 2 items?

I've never used any of these adapters but I have been damn tempted to try since I don't want multiple battery brands around. https://www.amazon.com/Badaptor-M...B07TYZ969F
