I've never played any of the Overcook games before. Which edition would be best playing with a 7 and 11 year old? Debating between the All you can Eat edition and Overcooked 2 Gourmet edition. I have no idea what the differences are between the games.

Thanks for any input.

All you can eat is the latest release and I believe it has all content from overcooked 1 and 2 in one package.

Overcooked is one of my favorite multiplayer games of all time. I would buy if it was physical at this price

Why is this game posted every day? Is it really that great that it warrants a new thread every day?
It's a good series and the pricing is usually slightly lower every time it goes on sale.

I think it's cheaper to get overcooked special edition and overcooked 2 gourmet edition instead.

It is. However All You Can Eat will have future content while Gourmet Edition and Special Edition won't get anything added ever again. It really doesn't matter right now since there really isn't any new content that Special Edition doesn't have as well but that will most likely change in the future.

Definitely All You Can Eat. You get OC 1, OC 2, all the DLC, all chefs, and a smoother running game engine all in one place.

It's a great family game bc you're all working co-op to prepare dishes quickly, in the correct order for maximum points. You'll score 0-3 stars for each level and have to have so many total stars to advance to the next section of the map.

The more people on your team, the higher your score needs to be to earn each star level, so with very young kids I'd play for fun with the whole family and then play to advance levels and collect maximum stars with your 2 best players. 7 and 11 are great ages for this game.

One of my favorite games. Enjoy

Is Nintendo Switch version less broken than PC? On PC multiplayer is mostly unusable [steampowered.com]

I don't suppose you get any discount if you already own OC2? (like they do with many Steam bundles)

Is there an advantage/disadvantage to buying this game digital vs physical copy other than the sale price? I'm new to the Switch and used to buying physical games in the past for other consoles like the Wii.

only advantage with physical games is that you can sell/trade them once you are done with game. If you buy digital then you are stuck with the game forever.

Yea but the advantage with digital is you don't have to take out the game cartridge every time you want to play. Depends on what you prefer.
