I have this and LOVE it. With that said, I wish it was just a tad bigger. Lean towards the 940 if it's legal in your state

Great post, decent price. I have the full-sized s90v CF version and can't see this one taking the place of my mini grip. Cool knife though.

"Shrunk down to a more comfortable size"?! The 940 was already extremely comfortable, hard to believe making it smaller would make it better in any way.

I'm 6'2 so even the 940 feels a little small in the hand but my 5' roommate is most comfortable with something in the Kershaw Chive form factor

I love my 940, but it's already a very slim and narrow knife. Be interested to try this but it sounds tiny. What I really miss is the Benchmade 707. It was the same length as the 945 but had a broader blade and grip. Was really disappointed when they discontinued it, especially since I'd sold mine when I thought I'd always buy another one if I missed it.

You can still find 707 on EBay but yes…not cheap… I have been waiting to get my hands on 707 for a while.
