People always ask how these are and we got one and hate it. It is good only if you thoroughly clean it after each use, or if you rarely press the button to use the shampoo feature. The self-cleaning doesn't clean super well, and if you don't take out the rollerbrush and air dry it after doing it, it'll smell terrible. This might be worth 100 bucks, I regret paying 400. Also had a major error after maybe 3 or 4 cleanings with it and they sent me a whole new one to replace it. These need some engineering work in order to be viable, they will keep going on sale until they abandon this model.

That said, the warranty is pretty good.

I like mine. We have all hardwood though, rarely use it on carpet. Does a great job. No issues, but I agree it is more for whole house cleaning than a spot at a time because of the cleanup time. I do the self clean than rinse everything and air dry. I stocked up on rollers and cleaning solution a few months ago when target had it all on sale. Probably have enough for several years.

Yes, unfortunately you have to clean after every use. But its great the cordless version is this price. I have the non-cordless version (CrossWave Pet Pro (2306)) and use every night to clean kitchen floors and don't think there's anything better out there.

I've tried different robot mopping machines but they're not much faster and do a poor job.

Want to add the self cleaning cycle is stupid, you can accomplish the same thing by just running the machine on the floor, all the machines in theory have a self cleaning cycle. To call out a special self cleaning cycle is sorta false advertising...

Just bought the CrossWave Pet Pro. To clean after you just run the machine across a clean floor to flush it through? Thanks

Thanks for sharing - I figured there was some cleaning hack.

FYI for folks on fence - check out the vacuum reddit group - a lot of information on vacuum/mop combos - most of the feedback isn't too glowing. One of the redditors mentioned about taking the MAX to the bissel repair shop and the technician recommended that they change for the corded pet pro.

Corded versions always have more suction.

How would this be vs kitty litter floors as far as the vacuuming portion and everyday mopping I guess comes with it. 100% hard woods and lvp

Purchased mine on an auction site for $75, very happy I didn't pay full price. Even at this price I would be annoyed. We have a small hose, 1200 sq ft. By the time I finish there's usually 1 bar left. It constantly leaves dark streaks from the rubber wheels, however this may be due to my cleaning solution mixture. But for a high ticker item, it shouldn't do that. Definitely enjoy no chord but not worth the extra money in my mind. Suction is okay… I have a 2 year old and she spills her pouches frequently. If one of the spills dries up this thing has a hard time cleaning it off, have to remind myself that it's not a mop, it's a vacuum…

I've read that it may streak more if you are close to the dirty water tank being full.

No, it's always immediate. Clean the tank and wheels after every use too. Annoying… somewhere they said online it's the mixture but I haven't cared enough to figure the ratio.

Researched getting one of these but decided I will hold off and continue mopping until these things hopefully get better. The price makes it hard to justify based on most reviews. Sucks because mopping gets old but at least my robot vacuum works well.

I used to use robot vacuums, till I found the Tineco vacuums. Changed my life. Leaves behind so little water on my laminate floor and cleans way better than my roborock s7
