Jeez, what a waste of resources. A neat gadget, but I think it's a lot easier to solve the problem of cold coffee by just pouring yourself a smaller cup. 14 ounces is small. Shouldn't require a battery, charger, and a smart phone to drink something hot.

I bought a few of these a few years ago, they are absolutely trash, most of the chargers broke within a few months. While the idea is great, these are just not reliable.

Who drinks a cup of black coffee over multiple hours? Do you do so because you enjoy it or you gotta find some way to justify this $120 cup warmer?

The featured comments are such BS. Don't knock it till you've tried it.

Since WFH, I've been making my own coffee and the worst thing is having to rush downing coffee before it gets cold. I live in NorCal, mind you. This cup really solves a problem that may seem trivial but in practice very useful. I get to enjoy my cup of Joe in a relaxed manner and love every bit of it.

Using a double-walled container just isn't the same.

At $100, it's a tiny bit steep but I would still go for it if hot coco/coffee/tea/water at home is your jam.

Just FYI, the paint they use on these tend to wear out and start peeling after some time. My cup got almost daily use over a year and the inside starting flaking. Company claimed it was still safe to drink but customer service was great and sent me a new cup.
if ingesting paint does not give you a red flag, and you take what a company tells you at face value . . . you should read about the claims Monsanto made. most Monsanto executives get to live their retirement as kings, when their consumers don't even make to retirement age.

Yup definitely didn't agree, so they sent a replacement. If it flakes again it's going in the trash.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to not drink coffee?
Coffee at home is like 25 cents a cup. It's why I don't understand why people go to those coffee places and spend $4 for a cup.

Difference in quality. Differentiated product. They can afford the luxury. Sometimes, cost savings. Sometimes, it's the most efficient solution for the situation.

Why eat out when you can cook at home?

Regular drip coffee is not $4 a cup at most places unless you are doing pour overs or french press at a fancy place. In general drip is around $2 (maybe more in certain regions, using sbux as reference). I used to pay about $1.50 a cup when I worked in an office not too long ago. When people say $4 coffee, it's more these fancy sugary latte's. I don't consider those coffee, more like a desert to be honest.

I know a few people who had to have these and they no longer use them as they stopped working. Its a neat idea, but at $100 (on sale!) you would think they would be more reliable.
