Have been wearing Creed Aventus since last 8 years. For the price it is highly overrated. Frankly speaking Creed somewhat is more about profits than quality since Blackstone bought them out. Now it's all about $.

Might want to try one of below 3. Though they miss a bit of pineapple top note and are somewhat synthetic, definitely noteworthy alternatives to Aventus.

For me it's also about exclusivity. I'm sure I could find something that smells as pleasing inside a CVS or Walmart. As a matter of fact, one of the fragrances I like is sold where I get my hair cut. I use it as a baseline and will use some other fragrance such as Creed or even Polo on top of it. I figure the mix will be even more exclusive than the average guy that just drenches himself in Drakkar.

Costco usually has some nice deals on higher end/niche fragrances. I've ordered Tom Ford and Creed from them at decent prices.

Adding another - While I haven't tried Creed Aventus itself, I hear that Montblanc Explorer (which is nice) is another clone. Lots of very good bundles (ie: 3.4 oz + free 1.0 oz @ Macys, or the 20% off coupons at Ulta/Sephora right now) make it pretty affordable and available before Xmas.. Otherwise it might be even cheaper at discounters.

I do hear it misses the Pineapple note though

Where would you buy the Armaf? What are good online retailers for Fragrances?
Thank you.

Pineapple vintage intense is what you want if you want creed aventus clone. It's perfection and not cheap armaf junk. Parfum vintage sells the clones.
