Paid $75 just a couple months ago, but really needed it ASAP.
So far, great tent for the price. It sleeps 2 in luxury, 3 in comfort, and 4 if you're really friendly and leave all the gear outside.
My sole beefs with this tent are that the rain fly isn't a luxury, it's a necessity if you want any privacy (fully screened upper section). The second thing is the interior height — just annoying enough that if you have a hanging light, even Shaq couldn't reach it from lying down. But it's also not tall enough to stand in, so it's a weird in between area. I would prefer some more square footage over the extra height, but I realize with dome tents that design is largely structural, to keep tension on the main poles.

Yeah, it's weird what they've done with the fly on these. It's less of a fly for your tent, and more of a baseball cap (i.e. it will cover your head, but it won't do a great job keeping you dry). Think they do it because it lowers the price of production (due to less material), and so consumers who think the current style of tent with the small fly decide to purchase something more adequate that costs more.
Have this and would buy again. Though I bought this from Sam's for double and kinda prefer it even with cost taken into account. We didn't wake up until 10:30am it was so dark.
that rain tarp is tiny, target had their sierra design one for 50% off ($40 final price) most of this month though looks like sale is over now, i'd keep eye out for something like that for low end tent.
Excellent tent that will keep you dry. Here's a Coleman that's going to be my next one as it's big and has the full rainfly to the ground. https://www.amazon.com/Coleman-Oc...B00I2SZWNC
Buying one just to play camp out in the backyard with kids. Hope this is big enough for the queen air mattress I just bought and good for newbie.
Absolutely. My kids are old enough that they prefer 2 twins, which is great because the middle can be used as entry, shoes, and gear storage. And nobody is hogging the bed!
Bought this a couple years ago (similar price back in the spring of 2019) and its been great. It kept me completely dry during a decent rain/wind storm this past summer up on Madeline Island on Lake Superior. I'd prefer to have a full size rainfly, but I honestly can't complain with how well it performed.
