Does anyone have a comparison to point to in terms of quality? Better than Stanley, Narex or are they closer to higher end?

I have both these and the harbor freight ones. These are bigger and have a sharper edge in my opinion. And I like the bigger size because it's easier to handle.

I'm also curious how these perform. Pony/Jorgensen went defunct in 2016, then the Chinese company GreatStar bought them and started supplying Lowes with clamps and such. Looks like they're expanding their offerings under those brands.

GreatStar has bought a number of other name brands, too: Shop Vac, SK, Arrow Fastener, Goldblatt concrete tools, and more. For what it's worth, they appear to be doing a fair bit of their manufacturing the USA, so your Shop Vac and SK tools might still be made here.

Looked at these when I was at Lowes. I was impressed with the build quality and picked them up as well as the Lufkin tape measures (2 for $15).
