I love these earbuds! There are 2 main benefits from my perspective. The first is that the battery life is really really long. You can get a realistic 8 hours on a single charge. So if you go distance running, you won't likely run out of battery. I also have Airpods and Airpods Pro and neither go very long so I couldn't use them for running. They poop out closer to 4 hours for me.

The other benefit is that they don't go into your ear canals. So you can wear all day and not get ear fatigue or discomfort. The way they hold in your ear is you put them in and then do a slight twist which gets them to stick in the outer area of the ear (and not using the ear canal to hold it in). It also comes with multiple ear pieces for better fit but I'm sensitive to large pieces and ear canal devices so I went with the smallest piece.

My Airpods also don't go into the ear canal and they're comfortable but they're much more likely to fall out during motion as they just dangle. My Airpods Pro do go into the ear canal which is why I don't like them as much.

I might be in the minority, but earphones that use the twist mechanism to hold on to the outer ear are supremely uncomfortable for me. Airpods pro and other similar design buds are what I find the most comfortable to use. Other designs like the Sony XM series really irritate the outer ear lining.

What do you mean people still use Windows? What are they supposed to use in its place?

I much prefer open ear buds that don't go in your ear canal. Too bad these look like you have a popsocket on you head, or I would definitely go for it.

There are plenty of obvious answers to this. Linux, macOS, ChromeOS being the major ones.

However, the fact that people act like any of these (including Windows) are dead and that nobody uses them…that's just trolling instead of actual ignorance.

He might be that kid from Apple's "what's a computer?" ad.

Exactly my point. Windows is still very much used for desktops and laptops, it is your ONLY choice if you are a gamer.

I wouldn't compare these quite the same as those. What those other ones that try to hold in the outer ear part have in common is they have a C-type rubber ring that's kind of big.

And because you need something to stabilize, some of them have something that goes outside the ear (like behind the ear) or a small piece that still penetrates the ear canal).

I've been using these for about a year and can attest that they are quite comfortable. I use them for about 6-9 hours a day, primarily for MSFT Teams meetings at home however they work just fine for WebEx, Zoom, etc. Sound quality is solid for meetings and I've never had complaints on the far end about how well the microphones picks up etc. After a year, battery life is still good, however I do place them back in the charging case between calls. On the off chance I have a 4 hr long meeting I have had them start to get low, but honestly any excuse to get out of a meeting that long is a feature in my book. I got these primarily because my airpod pros wouldn't stay connected, consistently, to my Windows devices. No such problems with these. Finally, and maybe best for me, these don't block out noise so when you're talking with them they sound natural and done sound like you have your ears plugged and that you're talking in a tunnel.

There are only a couple minor downside that I've run into and these are purely preference based: First, people do ask about them as they do look a bit like gauge ear rings (mine are white). I've even had people from Microsoft ask when I've been on a meeting with them. Second, they're great for meetings but for more immersion I switch to surface headphones for gaming as those block out more sound and have noise cancelation.

Hope this helps!

I've had these, really wanted to like them, but I must say that they're garbage. Very bad at staying in the ears, bad at switching connections. There's constant hissing noice present when connection is maintained but nothing is being transmitted. When I opened a case with microsoft, I was told it was part of the design...

Unless you really want these, I'd say spend your money elsewhere.

I think Costco still has the $80 for $100 Xbox/Microsoft gift card deal (https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/fp/687202). So that should be another $20 off.
