Vizio M58Q7 price appears to be lower than the 50" and 55" variants.

It's not true HDMI 2.1, it's 2.0B which has eARC but not 4k/120hz.
This is $549 at Gamestop, and you get a free $100 Gamestop gift-card.

I bought one from Amazon. Delivery date Dec 28. Anyone have one of these? Curious how it compares to the Hisense U6G at $449 for 55 inch. I briefly had the TCL 5 series Android version but returned it due to some issues. Thanks in advance!

Been this price at Best Buy, off and on all month- I've had it in my saved items for a while. Still it is a good price.

I got the 65 inch from Costco, it's not terrible but I've had issues with a dead pixel or two on both the original and replacement as well as audio/video sync issues with it on my soundbar. Software isn't the greatest either and I've considered returning it for the TCL R646.

The direct rivals in the same tier as this TV would be the TCL 546 and Hisense U6G. U6G is the best of the bunch but has terrible QA compared to the other two. TCL performs slightly better than the Vizio but TCL has been having software issues I believe with their GoogleTV models

Vizio M7 has VRR and eARC whereas Hisense U6G does not. M7 advertises HDMI 2.1 but it only has a 60Hz panel, same as U6G, so neither can do 4K @ 120Hz. If you game a lot and are okay with 60Hz, M7 is better. Otherwise, go higher for U7G/U8G which both have 120Hz panels, VRR, eARC, and way more local dimming zones than M7.

I just bought the 70" Vizio M7, been having issues getting audio through RCA cables where it goes silent after turning TV back on, have to reboot via admin menu. Someone posted same issue in the Vizio subreddit. Also, the smartcast UI is noticeably slow, but tolerable.

Due to having HDMI 2.1 and VRR, this might be my go-to TV come next BF.

Never quite understood these odd and weird TV sizes...... 55" 65" 75" makes more sense even though some manufactures are bring back the 60"& 70" models.

I understand in the early days when they could not do a 5" or 10" bump up.
eg....before 55" were introduced manufacturers would enticed people with 51" & 52" TVs over the standard 50"
