You're gonna have to defend the position here. Best deal on the blades I've seen was $15 for 150 as part of BMSM in Q2 2021. Haven't really been on any sort of discount since then. 50 pack runs 10 dollars normally. This deal gets you the 2 pack of fastbacks at FP price and 50 replacement blades on discount.

I don't understand your logic. It's discounted off of the normal price of the blades, no? If someone wanted these box cutters and also wanted the replacement blades for them this would be a good deal. Especially since the blades aren't discounted in a separate way right now.

Bummer, I bought the 2 for $15 a few weeks back. How is this packaged? Are the two knives separate from the extra blades? If so, I guess I can buy this and keep the blades while returning the knives with my previous receipt?

They are packaged separately. Model number is #48-22-1503-48-22-1950 which is a combination of the two items (both start with 48). Long story short, if they are packaged together it would be a short and unique model number. When the items are packaged separately Home Depot doubles the model number length by listing both item model numbers sequentially. So you should be good to order this and return the fastback knives on your previous order.

You are correct. Combining and prorating all time best prices does make a deal slicker and slicker. Never said this was a hall of fame deal, but it's a good deal. The thumbs aren't impressed. I'll let it go. Have a Merry Christmas everyone.
