How does this stack up against the Logitech Bluetooth adaptor?

Is there a sound difference from the volume knob like some other Bluetooth devices some them are so LOW it's ridiculous. And you got to crank it up all the way just to get normal sound

Got this one for $47 in July, Sound quality looks good but not much improvement than cheaper one. Also, it has some static noise.

I own this. I think I paid closer to $50 but regardless it's a fantastic Bluetooth receiver and brought new life to my Integra 5.1 receiver which has found it's purpose as a stereo amp for my garage. I got some old beat up b&w rear speakers being used as a stereo main and honestly it sounds bitchin!!

What static noise do you speak of? I haven't noticed this at all. I'm particularly sensitive to it as well which is why I've had to give up on a few external dac's. This little Bluetooth wonder however has been perfect to me

Is this worthwhile if I already get ultra HD music from my phone to my soundbar?

It produced some "tik-tik" noise that should not come out.

Bought this on a previous deal and I used it for a while. I bought the newest iPhone SE and for some reason it wouldn't pair with it ? It was fine with the iPhone 7 I used before it. That being said it sounded great running through my older denon receiver. Although, like someone else said The click is annoying.

Do you think it could be the result of some external interference? I get something similar on my Edifier gym setup which shares a wall with my neighbors

Careful with this device, the only input is from Bluetooth. Other devices can accept USB or coaxial input etc. This limits it to a receiver mode only. This means that you have to send the originating source music from somewhere else, like your phone or BT turntable etc and link by bluetooth to this receiver and then connect this device by cable to your playback device (wired headphones or receiver).
Good point. I think it's kinda funny the optical interface is an optical out. I wish it was an optical in instead because my TV's only audio output is optical.

it has been at this price multiple times throughout the years.
and honestly this is a extremely niche product. it provide a bluetooth to RCA (which any of the 10~15 Bluetooth dollar adapter does), and bluetooth to toslink (out). it doens't have USB DAC nor an internal amplifier. the only place where this product shines is as a bluetooth receiver for your AVR that you happen to must use TOSLINK interface.

and what made this a poor proposition is that 1Mii sales B08 that does the exact same thing with a bulid in 50W amp for 44 dollars that also include the bluetooth to toslink (out), which renders this product extremely overpriced becuase it costs more and does less

of course 1Mii later find out most ppl want bluetooth and toslink in, not bluetooth to toslink conversation (as you already have RCA), so they upgraded B08 to B08S with 100w for 45 dollars.

or you could get the lavaudio version of for 55 dollars

I happen to have all 3 for different rooms drive different speakers.

this does TOSLINK OUT, not TOSLINK IN.
what it meant to do is to send audio signal from Bluetooth out to receivers. therefore the bluetooth is the only input method this device takes. connect toslink to your TV does absoluly nothing.

can you connect to a smart TV? sure, via bluetooth that is. but then what? you will have to connect the output of this device to a receiver or via RCA or toslink, which begs the question: why not just connect your TV directly to your receiver without doing the Bluetooth transmit/receive nonsense
