Amazon MP3 music - can we still download & burn to CD?

The last time I bought an album in MP3 format on Amazon was Susan Boyle about 12 years ago. I remember my wife wanted the songs on CD to play in her car, and Amazon made it easy to download the purchased MP3 files to your PC. At that point, it was pretty easy to burn the files to a regular audio CD.

My wife was happy that it had been purchased legally, and I was happy that I didn't have to wait for a physical CD to be shipped. She was able to listen to it in the car later the same day.

I went onto Amazon today, and while I see the same Susan Boyle songs I purchased, I no longer see any way to easily download the MP3 files like before. My wife had mentioned some songs/albums she wanted, and I was going to do the same thing I did before.

Has Amazon done away with allowing easy download of the MP3 music files you purchase?

I haven't bought music in years, so I may not be much help here. But according to their FAQ their should be a download option by the song if you purchased it. I am not sure if that information is dated or not. Can you try accessing your music on another device or computer to see if the issue is local or on Amazons end?

Can't remember the last time I bought a song. I don't know how other people get their music these days but don't fear technology. I was pretty confused about how to stream from my phone in a car but recently took the time to figure it out. Not difficult at all.

Your wife could just stream any playlist on YouTube and even create her own private channel of playlists to stream endlessly and never have to worry about CD's or storage again. I usually download songs from YouTube and format them to mp3. Free and easy.
