Insects and spiders don't see the world the way we do. Most insects have two types of eyes, simple and compound. A simple eye (ocellus, plural ocelli) is a very small eye made of just one lens. Compound eyes are the large, bulging eyes on each side of an insect's head, made of many (sometimes thousands) small lenses.
I used a different brand of fogger years ago. It has a tank that you fill with the insecticide and it uses one of those 1 lb. propane tanks. You turn on the propane and light it and then squeeze the finger trigger to pump the insecticide through the coil wrapped around the propane heater. The insecticide boils and comes out as a "fog". If you pump it too fast it will not have time to heat up to boiling temperature and will sputter out the end. You get the hang of it within minutes. You want to use it early in the morning or at dusk when there is little to no wind. It leaves a very visible fog up to about 2 feet off the ground. It was kind of eerie looking. I was able to cover about 5 acres in an hour with one about this size.

I use Garlic spray. Kinda expensive. But works for my Asian Tiger mosquito. I think Asian Tiger Mosquito killed off the regular mosquitoes for several of years now. I see nothing but these striped blood sucking disease killer everywhere.
