Strange these multi packs always seem to include the old 4ah battery. The 2 and 8 are the newer ones, but the 4 is the old style. I prefer the newer 4ah compact for sanders since it does not stick out so far. The 5ah is better Than the old 4ah since it is the same size and 25% more capacity. This 8ah is nice, same size as the 6ah, but a third more capacity.

This is a super good deal! You can't even come close to a single 8AH for this price.
And I like the 2AH batteries. Many time you don't need to run a tool for hours on end and the smaller lighter battery makes the tool easier to handle.
