Thanks for sharing. Interesting, I didn't know American flew to Hawaii from Austin. I'm in San Antonio, we have flown from SA to Houston in order to fly to Hawaii or out of DFW.

You need to connect at DFW which is just a short flight away from AUS.

But if this is like past deals, it's more expensive to fly from DFW to HNL then from AUS-DFW-HNL . Airlines still playing that game?

AA is the only airlines that flies nonstop to Oahu from DFW. You have no choice but to play their games.

Sadly you are correct. I was born and raised in Austin. The changes make me sad and same for my Family.
Otherwise, there are aspects of Austin I still enjoy when I go back and visit. It's just getting more difficult to get around in Austin anymore.
