I was forced to update my Sprint plan after I bought a new iPhone 13 Pro Max. Lost my free prime membership and my monthly bill went up. Annoyed. It was nice having free Prime while it lasted. Switched to Verizon, even though it seems pricey. $500 is less painful. Like the free Disney+ subscription perk. Hopefully the slickdeals rebate also gets accepted to make it even sweeter.

Only if somehow you manage to convince either the Verizon CS and/or the Verizon Rebate Dept. or both, to email you the eGift cards within a couple of weeks after you sign up.

It's a very-very slim chance but it may happen. It happened to me a couple of years ago.
Read that thread posted above for a lot more on this Verizon deal.
It's truly worth it even without the early eGift cards receipt, considering the $115/line SD cashback.
Do NOT count on the early eGift card receipt, it usually takes about 6 weeks to get the eGift codes in the email, but if you bother them it may happen.

This promotion appears to still be active, so I have a question. I have an iPhone 7 Plus, I want a iPhone 13 Pro, and I'm currently with AT&T. As I see it, these are my options:

If I buy through AT&T, I can get $350 in trade-in for my old phone, I have to pay for the phone in installments, and I'm locked into AT&T for three years.

If I buy through Verizon, I can get $400 for my old phone, I have to pay for the phone in installments, and I'm locked into Verizon for three years.

If I buy the iPhone 13 Pro directly from Apple, I can get $100 for my old phone from Apple, and then get another $500 from Verizon for bringing my new phone with me through this BYOD deal, and I'm only locked into Verizon for 12 months.

It's a no brainer, right? Am I missing something?

If you plan to stay with verizon for long term, check about their (up to) 1000$ visa prepaid prmotion for switching. If you can work out, you could buy a new phone from AT&T and switch to verizon.

Oh wow, that's interesting... but also seems a bit more complicated/risky than I'm interested in doing. Thanks for the reply, though!

yeah, it involves few more steps

1) buy device from current carrier
2) switch to verizon and get a device of at least 700$ on a device plan (you can trade the device from step 1 too, which can make this device on zero cost monthly)
3) verizon will reimpurse up to 1000$ from step 1
4) only pay line fees

FYI: This deal is not eligible for SD cashback. BYOD is specifically excluded. That section should be removed from this post.

From the Verizon Wireless Cashback TOS:
"0% (No Cashback) on Service Updates, Apple Products not categorized as Apple Accessories, AppleCare / Extended Warranties, and Bring Your Own Device transactions."
