Not to mention it's been tested to Military Spec(ie spill proof, drop proof) this gives the Thinkpads a durability and longevity advantage over most other laptops. This tends to get overlooked.

The i5 is also significantly worse, battery matters most in these laptops where Ryzen easily wins, and it's a quad core.. this laptop has 50% more cores
I am trying to get a different thinkpad and I keep getting the error, and addition of any item, including this bag does not resolve it.

Although the other shell is made of ABS Plastic, the lid and the palm rests are coated. The hinges are made of metal. And despite being a budget ThinkPad Series, it has an internal magnesium alloy frame which made this laptop very durable

You might want to check your info. Even the low end i5 CPUs since 8th gen have been quad core
