OMG, been waiting for this deal on a thinkpad!

I maxed out all specs for a total of 1160.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1...sp=sharing

That's 4k display, 5850U, 48gb ram, "backlit keyboard" WAN LTE card, and card reader!
Took the 128gb ssd, will be swapping for something better!

Make sure you choose the backlit keyboard, it's not obvious that it doesn't include it!

The difference between 32gb ram and 48gb ram was $130, all the 32gb ram modules on amazon were more than $130 so getting it from the factory is a better deal!
(edit found a better deal on ram module than paying lenovo for it).

I will be swapping out the SSD, I am going to put a Samsung 980 Pro 1TB in her!

12 months no interest payments! it's a deal man!

This is arguably the best deal for a Highspec Thinkpad I've seen since Black Friday!

btw make sure you go throu R10 for extra 8% cashback and enable your SD extension!

Ok...popular thread... but folks on this thread seem like Scrooge when it comes to giving reps. Big Grin

But its Christmas - so here is a hack to still get this deal from Santa...

I tried and worked - Ofcourse its YMMV

1. On the cart screen, convert the cart to a Quote, you should see the option at the bottom of the screen once signed in

2. Then go to the quote in your account. Convert the quote to a cart.

3. Checkout with the discounted price.

The quote won't work if you try to create it on the checkout screen.

Attached snapshot of a dummy order I made.

Merry Christmas! Smilie

I don't believe you have this laptop, or you would know those USB-C ports are Thunderbolt4.
don't know if this is incorrect, but Walmart's listing for the T14 AMD shows dual Thunderbolt 4.

look for yourself, anyone who owns it can confirm.

You linked to a P14s, not T14. But in any case, ThinkPad T14 or P14 has Thunderbolt. Gen1 has Thunderbolt 3 and Gen2 has Thunderbolt 4.

I was considering this and then I saw "Ships in 3+ months." Nevermind, I'm good. I thought the 3-4 week wait for an M1 system was bad...

Bad brand. Both my lightly used Lenovo yoga laptops died just past the 1 year mark. They'd start to power on but the screen wouldn't turn on. I replaced the battery, power button switch, etc., to no avail. I realize this is a different model, but still a shitty brand.
Yoga is not a ThinkPad. Yoga is their low end brand unlike their X series or ThinkPads. ThinkPad is the most important brand to Lenovo because it was IBM's most widely recognized brand for quality and mission critical precision.

It worked for me!! Weirdly, I didn't have the option to use a credit card, so I used PayPal instead. Thanks again for the tip! And Merry Christmas! 🌲🎄 ☃️⛄Attached a screenshot as proof, after removing all my personal info ofc. The additional $51 off was added after I verified my student status on ID.me.

You login to your account -> add the item to the cart with the desired configurations -> enter the coupon codes -> then convert to quote.

You have to enter them while the item is in the cart. Not after requesting a quote.

I was having trouble getting the codes to go through and kept getting an error message. Finally got a code through on a maxed out model. Thanks for the help.

At the bottom of the coupon code box you can use verify.me to get additional discounts for various groups. Brought my sub-total to $916.22
