Walgreens if you have that...I did it 2 months ago on a 4x6 and they even punched it through their passport photo die cutter. But CVS and WM would probably be fine too.

Side note...it was my first DIY passport picture and I was honestly stressed out waiting to find out if it was accepted. I wish the State Dpt would just let us upload/validate our digital pic on the website.

Question if you are doing a renewal and don't have current passport in posession (sent for visa), also has 5 pages/5 years left on it, can you pay now and actually get it in 6 months or something?

Not sure about its other use but for me I use my Passport card for Ready Lane. I live near the border and we drive to MX couple of times a month. You can take the Ready Lane if you have a Passport card which is a lot faster than you bringing your Passport and taking the regular lane. You can just wave your hand with your Passport card and the camera just scans it. There are dedicated lanes for Passport card holders at both Mexico and Canada borders. I never carry my Passport anymore.
