You gotta be crazy to pay $900 for that, when a nice 2K monitor is $300-350

Hard disagree.

I picked up the HDMI 2.0 version last year for around $700. This is the HDMI 2.1 version but they're mostly the same.

Factors to consider

- HDMI 2.1 vs HDMI 2.0
- 4K support vs 1440p (this makes a huge difference in price)
- 144 hz support at 4K (many monitors will cap out at 120 hz, or 60 hz at 4K)
- HDR (most monitors have really bad HDR, this one is passable at HDR-600).
- Screen size and pixel density (1440p at 32 inches looks drastically worse than 4K at 32 inches)
- Color accuracy, ghosting, and input lag

Also, if you use a monitor for console gaming (which I do), 1440p isn't supported on PS4/PS5 and HDR is not support at resolutions other than 4K on Xbox One/Xbox Series.

I don't use it for console...
Last week,I bought Dell S3220DGF for $299.99(it was on sale),and i will never go back to anything smaller then 32" screen.
Paying $800-900 for a 27" monitor? it's crazy.I would better spendlike $200 more for a 43" LG C1 TV.
A lot of people did that! C1 is a wonderful screen

A TV is not a monitor. Anything larger than 32 in my experience on a desk creates additional eye and neck strain.

Dell S3220DGF is 1440p which means it has 4 million less pixels than a 4K monitor. 1440p at 32 inches has a pixel density of 92 PPI while 4K at 27 inches has a 163 PPI. S3220DGF also only supports HDR-400 which hurts image quality while the LG has HDR-600 being passable for HDR. In addition, the LG has HDMI 2.1 which is important depending on your set up.

I agree 900 is a lot of dough on a 27... that dell 34 ultrawide was $650 on BF.

If you are the 900 range it better be 32in.. otherwise ultrawide.

Its not even gsync ultimate. Are you high bro... yeah its 4k 144hz but also $900 27"

Just so we understand each other. I own a 34GP950G-B, its awesome but also imo $200 over priced.. however it has the gsync module.

Hi josh.

Gsync compat and gsync are not the same, please research.

G-SYNC ULTIMATE

Features the top NVIDIA G-SYNC processors to deliver the very best gaming experience, including lifelike HDR, stunning contrast, cinematic color, and ultra-low latency gameplay.

G-SYNC

Features a NVIDIA G-SYNC processor to deliver an amazing experience with no tearing, stuttering, or input lag. Enthusiasts and pro-level gamers can count on full variable refresh rate (VRR) range and variable overdrive for pristine image and outstanding gameplay.

G-SYNC COMPATIBLE

Doesn't use NVIDIA processors, but have been validated by NVIDIA to give you a good, basic variable refresh rate (VRR) experience for tear-free, stutter-free gaming.

Idk OregonDealz, it sounds like you fell for Nvidia's marketing stunt. Can you link a video that shows real world differences?

I did research it and could not find a video that shows real world differences so I thought you could help me but I guess you rather be a prick. Thanks. I will enjoy it. It's sold out again so it must really suck.
