4K at 27 is quite small. 32 seems to be good starting sweet spot for 4K.
Depends how far u gonna sit from monitor and how good your eyesight is tbh.
Got a 43" and 27" 4k display using 100% scaling the text on the 27" looks microscopic in comparison from around 2 feet away which is recommended distance to see entire screen. If I had less than 20/20 near vision would definitely struggle to see the text on the 27" whereas on the 43" even at 100% text is easily readable.

Anyways, good price for nano IPS 4K monitor that was selling for over $1k when it just came out.

That really depends on your main use case for the monitor. I was using 43 inch 4K monitor for a long time and I also have a few mid end 32 inches 4K monitors. I bought this a couple of weeks ago after researching for my new gaming monitor, and here are my reasons:
1) I prefer 27 inch for gaming so I can see the whole screen without moving myhead a lot
2) I like the pixel density so when you choose a proper scale, the text is large enough to see and looks like a Retina display (although not high DPI enough, but at least the pixel is not visible, where I can see the pixel in my 32inch 4k clearly)
3) I prefer IPS since I also do some occasional photo and video editing (VA screen had low color range and my eyes doesn't like VA much, oled is too expensive and not a viable product at the size with 120Hz+ in market right now)

After using for a few weeks I was mostly happy about the size and choice.

However, I can also think of some reason NOT to get this:
1) if your main purpose is for work, maybe 32 inch is better given the actual desktop real estate after scaling (27 inch needs a higher % scale)
2) if your main purpose is for games, but don't have a powerful PC to run 4K at high fps, maybe 1440P monitor is better options.
3) or if you are playing games only, VA or even oled would be better choice
4) or if you have a large desk and far away from your monitor, go for bigger size...

So so so tempting... My work 60hz AOCs are really limiting my rig when it comes to gaming...

The same page has LG 27GP95R-B for $547, they removed lighting on its back cover but everything else is the same.

Windows has scaling and you definitely won't see individual pixels. So, it actually isn't that bad. Now for gaming at 4k your targets are smaller so if your mouse skills suck (not including those who use controllers) then you will need more practice or I recommend a 2K monitor. All depends on the games you are playing.
