I gave up on the idea of a digital game library after seeing how Sony was handling shutting down the PS3 and Vita store and also turning off patches for older games. Youre paying for a rental, you dont own them forever. You get knocked offline, anything happens to your account or they decide to shut off their servers you lose your games. I bought a EA Tetris game on my phone a few years ago, its now wiped from the store. Even though I bought it I cant download it again since their license for the property expired regardless of me having a license to play the game.

This was great. I ordered 7 used games at 50% off around midnight of the 22nd, and they were all delivered by about noon on December 24th. I was impressed, super good price and fast/free shipping.

Why can't I select in-store pickup? And how likely is it to get a game without the case - will I have better luck in-store rather than online?

Normally you can select in-store pickup if the store you are selecting has it in stock. In regards to it being in the actual game case, I've ordered around 40 games from them and have only received a generic case twice. You can always return it if you want to keep though.

Thanks, today there is no in-store option - maybe because the stores are closed for Christmas. I'll check again tomorrow!

Planning on getting Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, Returnal, and Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut (PS5) for $97 total - do any of those come with codes that might be already used because the game is pre-owned?

Ghost of Tsushima directors cut for PS5 does not come with any code to redeem. Hope this helps.

Ratchet and Clank do. I ordered 3 copies about a month ago with same promo and all 3 came with their cases but sadly both codes were used (3rd copy came with nothing). It's just a code for some extra weapons and gear though. Don't think Ghost has any though

Thanks! Yeah random DLC is fine if it's used. I was hoping especially Tsushima didn't come with the remastered original game or DLC as a code - like Miles Morales did at launch (Spider-Man Remastered was a one-time-use download code in the Miles Morales Ultimate Edition).

It's a game of chance. I bought 6 games in one order this past week during the 50% off under $20 sale. It came in 3 different shipment. 5 out of 6 was in the original case.
