But yeah 3 AAA games for free, can't complain. Expect servers to be overloaded, espcially with millions of people trying to download 3 20+ GB games from their server at the same time.
their backend sucks compared to steam, that's a fact right now
Also, PSA, these are free for a WHOLE WEEK. If you can't get it now, maybe go away for 6 hours and try again.
ecommerce with heavy shopping days and "drops" isn't new. flash sales have been done for a long time. and games are way more intensive than a storefront. maybe you should learn about modern software engineering before acting like you know how this works.
epic has a broken backend if they cant handle some basic checkouts of a virtual good that doesn't even need to check for limited stock or calculate shipping or process payments.
