Care to elaborate?

I always thought the "normal" type of heavy duty staplers are designed wrong, because you push down on the end opposite to where the staples come out. So it's easy to accidentally move the tip and miss the target.

Hmm, have you not seen how these work? I've had the original Black and Decker Powershot for 30+ years, and have done 2 houses worth of insulation, and have always found this design to be so much better, unless I use the hammer stapler, but that tends to cut the paper on the insulation. My Arrow T50 just sits in the drawer gathering dust. My wife finds this version much easier to use as well, especially for alignment purposes.

Actually, this trigger is even better; you apply more force as you press down.

Do I need this? I don't have a Staple gun, and don't necessarily need one either but if it's a "great" deal I'll hop on it.

edit: I guess I do. Why not for $10

I didn't know how much I loved staple guns until I was introduced to them. I've somehow acquired three and now I don't have any use for them 🤷

Negative, pushing with palm of your hand is more comfortable, gives you opportunity to push with whole forearm and shoulder

In 4 1 !
I have a pneumatic stapler (yes, it takes the same staples) but this is perfect for putting signs up at the ranch.

Does this put a staple in a wood? Thinking of using it for putting up lights next year.

My Arrow Powershot I got from Ace only lasted a few uses before the piece of steel that hammers the staple broke. When I took it apart to see what was wrong it looked like this would be a common problem based on the design. Looking at reviews for the one I had it appears I was right.

Hopefully this one is more robust? Only 5 reviews so far.

I need to put up some ethernet cable and staple it to a wood beam in my basement. Will this work?
