Thank you OP! I used an online calculator which said I needed 3,800 balls for my size ball pit that I wanted to make, and a few extra doesn't hurt so I bought 10 bags. Can't take the kids out during covid so might as well make the house fun!

That calculator defaults to 1.5" balls. These are 2.5"...hope you adjusted it. I didn't and was disappointed by the size 1000 took up then I noticed and changed it. My sister's kids will enjoy these. She probably won't though.

Oh I had no idea they come in different sizes. Maybe 5k balls are too many
