Great game. With the portability facto on switch, this is a good buy. Look at reviews and gameplay online. Some people just want cheap stuff...

I'm not saying it was a bad game in any way but just not for me however here are some of the things I found painful about it:
-weapon durability; I have no problem with weapons that degrade over time but that rate was just silly.
-crafting; why did there seem to be no recipe system or a way to save combinations of ingredients?
‐exploring; blind wondering and climbing until you accidentally stumble across the needed area or item. I'm not asking a game to hold my hand but I also don't want to spend hours aimlessly trekking back and forth.
-puzzles; move block A to space B.
‐the almost complete lack of Zelda like action.

Good game but almost a decade old at this point. Agreed the switch port looks solid. This game is on sale for a third of this price on other systems.

This has to be my favorite Switch game and one of the only game in the last decade I will beat 100 percent because the side quests are just as fun as the main game. Exploring isn't a chore, leveling up is NOT a grind, several difficulty levels which all offer a challenge in their own right. Controls are spot on once you learn the ends / outs. 10 / 10. BTW, if it matters I hated BoTW and Assassin's Creed on Switch so that might tell you a lot. Exploring in this game seems purposeful and not like random trial and error approach to those two games. Goals are clearly laid out but still offer puzzle solving. Also, crafting is NOT a PITA like in BoTW.

It's a great game and if you enjoy it, it'll bring plenty of hours.
It is just quite old, the original was release Jan 2016.
Despite it's age, in terms of game quality, I think it's worth full price/not a cheapie game.

Link's Awakening and Doom 3 are also close seconds. I realize none are Switch originals but few games are Wink
