To this day, I have never successfully completed a Rubix Cube. It just makes me more and more frustrated...

It's just learning algorithms. Watch a tutorial and after the first time you solve one following them, you'll be amazed. I used to just try and move the cube around and not know why I never solved, but within 20 minutes after watching the videos, I had the top and the first layer done. Then it took a few more hours of frustration and learning to solve for the first time, and I've gotten a lot faster since then.

I don't ever like to thread crap on a deal since it's a great price. However if you are serious about getting a good cube you want to get a Chinese one. I had this one and it's so difficult to turn fast. You'll enjoy it much more with a cube a few bucks more.

The main difference for Chinese cubes is that they are built to turn easier and with more error correction if you didn't complete the turn fully. Some Chinese ones have magnets in them to keep the pieces together at faster speeds.
The range of prices is incredible. A few dollars to $50 is the norm.

To learn how to solve the two methods I use are cfop and roux. I am working on roux now and I love it. It's easier for me to learn than cfop

I'm not an expert by any means. I just find it fun to learn and I'm just trying to improve my times. I just work on it a few minutes every day.

One of my kids is learning to solve and she just learned using cfop basic level. It's a great puzzle for the kids to learn and they've had fun doing it. I bought a bunch of Chinese ones for them for $3 each and a nicer speed cube for myself.
