I would be careful. Some reviews have said WD doesn't honor OEM warranty. Forget if they were Amazon reviews or not.

Just a heads up, I picked up a mix of drives from WD during their Black Friday sale. Of the mix 5 were EFBX and 1 was EFAX. Every single EFBX is extremely noisy. I am not just talking the reported seek noises, but the drives all have loud hums that can be heard in the other room.

Now supposedly EFBX is just a correction to the speeds since EFAX I believe showed as 5400, but I am wondering if these are also air based rather than helium based.
