Nice, durable set, no doubts there.

If anyone is looking for a solid set of impact rated magnetic nut setters, with two hard to find sizes of 5.5mm and 13mm, these are what I bought moments ago:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G2X5...UTF8&psc=1

13.97$ tonight, with a 10% off coupon to click on ..... coupon was available on both my Prime and and non-Prime account ..... might be YMMV.

I also took the 1$ No Rush Shipping credit .... arrives on the 4th of Jan.

UPDATE: I received the set, and they are NOT magnetized.

Returning today.

Nothing great about this set. The nut drivers are neither magnetic nor are they 1/4" end to fit into impacts and screwdrivers so they have to be chucked into a drill. I have tons of these nut drivers from different manufacturers over the years thrown in my tool box and gathering dust. Once you use a magnetic nut driver you probably will never touch these standard nut drivers again. I will even grab 1/4" drive sockets with a 1/4" Adaptor on my impact driver before grabbing any of these! They are just old school IMO. In summary you get a worthless set of nut drivers and a bunch of cheap bits. I am kinda ashamed with Dewalt for producing this set. Looks like something Huper Tough, Black Decker or Skil would produce as a set. Save money and frustration and purchases an impact rated nut driver set! If you get a SAE and Metric Set you will be surprised how much you will use on Automotive work also!

Still holding my breath in hopes that one day a GOOD 8"-10" hollow shaft (preferably, impact) nut driving set gets created.

I've tried several, and they're all overpriced šŸ’© šŸ’© .

Been waiting for Vessel JP to make a set (not Vessel USA "made in Japan", rather the actual Japanese brand from Vessel. The US versions of Vessel are horrible. )

If I had a Genie, all three wishes would be tool related lol.

Where does it say "magnetic"? And, at least one reviewer said they are not magnetic as advertised.

But it has "more enjoyment" 😃 looks like the long ones are magnetic, not the short ones.

The bit holds on magnetically, but not your screws/bolts. I wouldn't really get this with the stuff I have if they aren't magnetic bits. I have a couple sets of them, if I look hard enough. A mechanics set with these plus a socket adapter in it would be a better value, and more capability.

It says right in the description they are ¼". There is no reason for any of these bits to be impact rated. That being said, I still wouldn't buy it, it should be a $10 kit regular price.

Any of the decent brands work. I have Bosch, Dewalt, Makita, Milwaukee, Craftsman, Norske in my kits and they all just work. However I don't use them all day every day. Get a couple sets of different lengths on sale and see what you like. I prefer the Bosch myself.

Free delivery for Prime is great, but Harbor Freight [harborfreight.com] does have similar, if not exact same sets for same or less money. If making a special trip, then HF and other box stores could cost more, but there is the warranty exchange.

They are still unloading the backed up container ships at the three docks in California, so I am thinking the sales are not over with this season.

You can spend about whatever you want for impact sockets, but for daily usage, we still buy made in the USA magnetic Apex bits and sockets. For the homeowner, most any of the cheap sets will work, but when a coupon is available, I would take a stroll through Harbor Freight.

I was in a new HF last week to pick up a set of wheel protecting impact sockets and you could spend a couple of hours and never see everything. No longer the crowd of freebie seekers, help was readily available to get what you want and out of there.

Not sure how good these are. It says decent, but compared to a good brand, maybe not. Lots of good reviews, though. I've actually done a 360° turn on one of the standard duty off brands years ago with a B&D drill. Keep in mind for someone outside of the tool world, my Cr@ftsman impact screwdriver bits are weaker than the DeW@lt standard duty screwdriver bits, and R„obi is just trash. Screwing in 3" wood screws into cheap HD MDF and wood 2"x4"s with my DeW@lt impact would cause it to hop and strip the bit, so I went through several #2 R„obi and a couple Cr@ftsman bits. That's when it's better to pay more for quality over quantity, unless people run off with your tools all the time. I have maybe a dozen sets of bits. Milw@ukee is decent, too. I've used some impact bits weekly with a M@kita impact to assemble furniture with at work for the past 3 years. I just did 230 bolts for some desks a week ago, and they're just starting to strip the edge. So I've used it on thousands of bolts and they're just now starting to wear down.

Most of these items don't have a lifetime warranty, but make sure you check the packaging to see if it does. I don't think you need to worry about it unless the quality is absolute garbage. I have broken the end of a 1/4" extension in my impact, so make sure you don't go too cheap. Luckily I was able to find how to disassemble the chuck online to remove the broken part. So at least I make sure the part going into the chuck is a decent quality so I don't have to worry about getting my impact repaired.
