This is a real running shoe that you'll find in running stores, not "running" shoes you'll find in dept stores and shoe outlets that are perhaps good for casual running/jogging.

That said, this shoe is a complete revamp from all the previous adizero Boston shoes. Should have been renamed since it's not the same in design or best use.

Previous Bostons were great for faster training and longer distance racing. This one is, oddly, heavier and perhaps good for training at best.

Old Bostons used Boost foam (great durability, but heavier). This Boston 10 is using newer foams in a much thicker sole and, ironically, overall weight increase.

I've appreciated the Adidas shoes being good to go straight from the box, so am hesitant when I read reviews that they need to be broken in/adjusted to over 30-50 miles.

Big fan of the (old) Adidas Bostons. Will try the new ones sometime since options for non-thick, carbon plate/rod shoes are disappearing.
Man did this model get ugly!
So many crappy comments that don't comment on whether they're actually good trainers for price or weight. I wish someone with experience would comment on usefulness on mileage and comparisons.

Thanks for your input! I was not a fan of previous Bostons because they were too firm for me maybe these are softer?

I've been training/racing with the older model for a few years. Will try this for my daily.

I had ebay bucks 8% when I logged in and chase freedom paypal 5% off to lower the price a bit.

Thx op

But it's not even the same shoe, so the original comment doesn't make sense. This Boston shoe is a completely revamped model from this past year. The foam is completely different. I have an older Boston 8 and the stack height is much lower compared to this.

I have both the Boston 9 (~300 miles) and Boston 10 (~40 miles).

The B9 had a lower profile and on the firmer side. Great for intervals and faster pace runs. Toe box on the B9 was snug at first but eventually stretched and is very comfortable now (I typically wear wide width sneakers).

The B10 is on the taller side and feels bouncy (bouncier than my 1080v11). Definitely feels more like a daily trainer than the B9 but pushing the pace isn't difficult. The only complaint I have is that the shoe does feel very tight especially the midfoot where the gusseted tongue is held down. Perhaps it will get better as I break these in but I got these for a steal at the Adidas outlet store for under $60 in the white and red colorway.

Just go to Runrepeat's site. They have reviews, demos, ratings, and deals. Best site for all things shoes, IMO. Kinda like the Rtings of shoes.

They are now my dailys. I run about 30 sec a mile quicker in them compared to a stability trainer and they are both the same weight (heavy). Was not a huge fan at first but they have grown on me. Pro tip- wear tall socks with these

Long distance? No, but i do jog occasionally, usually HIIT and weight lifting, so i found Ultraboost and Nike Metcons work best for my needs
