I gave one to my girlfriend for Christmas. I did make sure to take out the charger cable first and keep it at my place. I know she's too cheap to buy a replacement cord. YMMV.

I bought the elite from the thanksgiving sales last month. I submitted the receipt to my FSA and it was approved. Just mentioning it for anyone else trying to spend their remaining FSA balance before the end of the year, this may qualify.

I love the device by the way.
