I used to say that about Idiocracy, but I think we're there now!
Sorry for asking a noob question. What is MA? Looked up but nothing..
Edit: Never mind. Found it in the description. It's Movie Anywhere.

Oh my bad, if you don't know about MoviesAnywhere (MA), go sign up and link all your digital movie platforms together (Apple, Vudu/Fandango, Amazon, Microsoft, and other providers). Then when you buy a MA title (if the movie shows up on MoviesAnywhere site) from any of your linked digital content providers, they will transfer to all other linked providers. So if you buy a MA compatible movie from Amazon, it will transfer over to Apple, Microsoft, Vudu/Fandango etc.
These are the studios that participate with MA. https://help.moviesanyw

Ohh wow. I seriously didn't know that. Don't own much of the digital content..but this is a good reason to start collecting and utilising those amazon credits! Thank you so much!

Yep! As a general rule of thumb, I only purchase 4K movies outside of Apple that are MA compatible. Only purchase and redeem HD movies from/through Apple if possible. Apple is the best place to build your library. Reason being, Apple upgrades your HD movies to 4K if available or if remastered in the future. 4K movies purchased outside of Apple that are MA compatible transfer to Apple in 4K. It's the best way right now to try and build a 4K library.

Will it only play HDR thru iTunes on like Appletv then? Or can I still do it thru movies anywhere app as long as I have iTunes linked?
You can use Apple TV, Vudu , Amazon Prime or MoviesAnywhere apps to playback MA compatible titles. Whatever is linked to MA will be able to see all your MA titles to matter which platform you buy it on.

Prefer iTunes with my Apple TV myself, but Vudu an excellent optional choice.
