It will work, I would guess around $1.75 a day or so before expenses. I have the GE75 with the 2070 in it from last year and make about that much.
Costco has the newer GE76 with the 3070 listed on there website right now which is much better choice, but its also like $2200. Last year, at about this time the GE75 went on sale for about 1500 is (i believe that's what I spent on this one). I'm not sure if we will ever see that again thangs to Covid Tax.
The keyboard really kills this deal for my. I need a number pad on a laptop of this magnitude.
If you're just hooking up to an external monitor, get this.
Summary
Good CPU and GPU, good cooling.
Mid-tier build quality
No mini dp, SD card or USB C
Screen on Costco model is worse than MSI model but you gotta give and take with a discount like that plus the performance makes up for it.
No RGB bar.
