It's a good calibrated monitor, supports 96W power delivery over USB-C (one of the highest allowed in monitors) and this is the reason why it costs a little more. Plug everything to the monitor and just hook up your laptops' USB-C. Good for those who want to reduce cable clutter.

Weirdly enough, the stand and port drive the price up significantly - but to be fair, they are great features. The stand separately would cost ~$100 as well.

I'd think of it as an all-in-one purchase, rather than a value purchase.

Just curious, is this the same monitor like the one that was going for $199 with just a fancy stand and usb c port?

Thank you for the kind response. I recently purchased two monitors for $199 each. I was wondering if I need this instead. I have a docking station so that eliminates the need for a usb C on a monitor.

Appreciate your help

Nice! You saved money and have the better setup, in my opinion.

I have two 27" 1440p monitors. One is in portrait mode other is landscape. I would like to buy a new 32" monitor to use as my main landscape monitor then have two 1440p's in portrait mode on either side.

Should I go with 1440p at 32" screen size or get a higher resolution?

That seems like a personal preference decision to me... I guess it depends on how sharp you want the screen to be.

Higher resolution, it'll look pixelated next to 2x 1440p 27", and you can get a better deal on a >31" non-USB-C 4k monitor with a mount of your own choice.

Dumb question I guess, but I was checking to see if it has a built in webcam?

It does not, but it has a usb 3.0 hub on the back you can use to attach a webcam to and hide all the cables.

Indeed. I'd rather get a much better Ergotron arm stand for cheap on my local craigslist.
