The only bad thing is when Samsung swapped in QLC on some cards without changing SKUs. That's a dick move. Can't trust nobody.

In October 2007, it was announced that B&H Photo agreed to pay US$4.3 million to settle allegations that it discriminated against Hispanic workers, while not admitting any wrongdoing.
In November 2009, a lawsuit against B&H Photo alleged that the store refused to hire women, in violation of New York City and New York State Human Rights Laws. The lawsuit, brought by four women, sought class action status on behalf of all women discriminated against by B&H over the course of many years. Given B&H's prior alleged discriminatory practices, the lawsuit sought US$19 million in compensatory and punitive damages to deter future discriminatory practices. In 2011, a lawsuit alleged discrimination against Hispanic workers.
In February 2016, the United States Department of Labor Office of Contract Compliance filed a lawsuit against B&H alleging that the company had only hired Hispanic men into entry-level jobs in a Brooklyn warehouse, and then subjected them to harassment and unsanitary conditions. On August 16, 2017, the company announced that it had settled this matter for a reported $3.22 million, while not admitting any wrongdoing.
In November 2019, According to The Verge, the Attorney General of New York state filed a lawsuit alleging that B&H knowingly failed to pay millions of dollars in sales taxes due in New York. The company's spokesperson has said that "B&H has done nothing wrong and it is outrageous". According to B&H, the Attorney General is alleging that customers should pay sales tax on pre-discounted prices, not on the actual selling price, which is the widespread industry practice.
p.s defin not getting my business- i'd be willing to pay extra $20 and buy it elsewhere.

What a funny word.
It's TLC then.
But still better than garbage QLC.
BHP's tax eliminating credit card is pretty great. I got over $90 back this year alone, and there's no annual fee garbage to deal with. Also, dare I say it, BHP has some great used deals. My synology RAID is humming along rather nicely.

Going by the "TLC", and "QLC" nomenclature, two bit MLC would be named something like "DLC" for "dual" or "double". TLC and QLC are purely marketing terms for retail consumers (enthusiasts) to differentiate flash types and aren't actually used in an engineering setting.
This is a similar issue to what Intel faced with their process nodes. For a long time, they denoted their process using (I think) the gate length. TSMC's 12nm process, on the other hand, actually didn't refer to any physical measure. It was a marketing term to denote density and generational changes and the transistor density was usually a bit worse than what used to be Intel's 14nm process at the time. That is why Intel finally caved and renamed their 10nm process to Intel 7, to denote that its similar performance and density to TSMC's 7nm.
