Unless you really need a quiet keyboard, I'd really recommend you spend a little more and get a mechanical keyboard.

The z20s have an average of 4.3 stars on Amazon, 4.5 stars on BestBuy, and 5 stars on Newegg. Yeah, better avoid it.

How's the noise with these keys? I REALLY hate the loud clicky types.

Read review and steer clear of the Z20's as they have usb cable issues with random disconnects etc.

im with you on that clicky sound. I hate it, too.... One of the reviews on Newegg state:

Pros: The keyboard itself is very wonderful. The clickyness of it reminds me of the old IBM model M clicky sounds

Great price, but that's a no go for me.

I just got the z12 the mecha membrain keyboard. It's pretty clicky. It's going for a mechanical click sound while not using switches. So it might be a pass for you.

When I'm on the phone with someone and they are giving me some information, I like the clicking sounds as it lets them know that they don't need to pause for 30 long seconds before they continue giving me information. That, and I don't mind passive-aggressively annoying my co-workers...

Good thing I saw this. This is one of the few that has what I need, a menu key next to the right CTRL key (many of them are FN only or keybard light settings) and \ above Enter and not to the left of Enter. My current keyboard has neither of those and I still hit \ way too often. My job is typing though, so clicky is a no-go. Gotta keep looking...

Buy direct from evga.com and don't support newegg's crappy business practices. You can use an associate code to take 10% off too.
