Yeah, but I'm getting $5 for shipping two tests directly from ihealth.

Amazon has had them available at this price for a while. I ordered several about a week ago and they were delivered yesterday and today.

For what it's worth, I used 4 of them on the same person over about a 15 hour period and got 2 positive, 2 negative. That's antigen tests, for you. If you need to rely on the result, test twice. And if you get two different results, just assume they're positive.

Does insurance reimburse for these types of over the counter rapid covid tests? I know Biden made a speech that they will, but not sure if this is a reality in practice.

This is not meant to be a political post so please don't waste time if you don't know the answer to the question and just move on.

False positive rate is very low. False negative rate is pretty high. So if you get any positive results at all, there's a good chance you have COVID-19. If you get a negative result though, that shouldn't be counted on.

I got $4 to ship one kit, $7 to ship 4 kits. If you are buying more than a couple, buying direct at $13.98/ea plus shipping is in fact the better deal. Expect the price on Amazon to go back to $14 after supplies increase.

That's what I did. Comes out cheaper via iHealth if buying a few kits.

Did not see it authorized by fda for travel. Check specific list for your travel company.
