Only thing I know about this game is that back in the day this was a popular game for the C64 because it looked so much like Super Mario Brothers. Someone modded the game to look like Super Mario Brothers. We had it and I played and beat that game so many times I got a blister on my thumb.

It was one of my all time favs on C64. Still boot it up every now and then. Tried this new version on PS3 a while back and it is a decent platformer. For this amount, it is worth it.

Really good game if you like side scrolling platformers! Highly recommend at this price. Wish i could buy as a gift, i'd gift this to like 3 different friends lol. This franchise has come a long way from its original release on the Commodore 64 as what was essentially the most blatant attempt at a Mario Bros clone that could be possible lol ..But now, this series certainly established its own identity, this game proves it!

Yeah want to buy it but I own multi platform on this. Having two switches I'm thinking twice as I really prefer cartridge to use on both. Being cheap. 2nd switch stopping my digital purchases as I can only use one account.

Well you def sold me on it now. If your friends dont know about it at the very least "gift them" the link so they at least can buy it if they want to. I know if you buy it from other online retailers you could gift them those codes. Guessing this sale only on Nintendo though…

Unless Rayman Legends, Mario, or Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze goes on sale for 2 bucks, then this is the best 2 dollars youll spend on a platformer, by far! lol

I meant I was forced to create a second account bc of how inconvenient it is to deregister every time I bring it to gramps house. Got tired of lugging console back and forth. Then discovered no primary-secondary as on playstation or xbox. Consumers assumed to be pirates by Nintendo. I don't blame them but there are genuine situations when I just want convenience. And it's impractical to rebuy it on two accounts so I'm just buying cartridges.
