I save those "Don't Eat" bags with silica gel that come packed with crap from China, and keep them in my toolboxes. I also paint some bare steel tools, bench vises, etc. with pure Flood by Penetrol (or Penetrol by Flood?). Flood is very impressive, clear, and looks great on tools. Some folks use Flood to paint rat rod cars.

Saw the vice grip style pliers in store for 15 and nearly bought them as my pair is old and rusty. In my experience hyper tough are better than junk drawer quality tools, both sets of pliers were a no brainer for me.

No experience with the hyper tough but I have bought the Hart stuff in a pinch and was extremely impressed with it. Probably worth the little bit extra to be a lot happier.
