Creality CR-6 SE on sale for $339. Not sure how low this has been but seems lower than most places at the moment. This store has good reviews, and checks out and upgrades the printers before shipping. I have one on order, but be aware that if you want it NOW this isn't going to be the place to buy it, as they seem to have a 1-2 week lead time at the moment, especially with the pandemic crap still going on. In my case they didn't charge tax, which is nice Smilie

"When machines are in stock, estimated lead time is 2-3 weeks" hope you're in no hurry. Also i noticed it states "CR-6 SE 3D Printers are tested here, at our Houston, TX facility " so are they admitting they are selling you a used machine?

Um, unboxing and testing and upgrading is not selling a used machine. And I already mentioned that their lead times extend out a bit.

FYI:

What sets Tiny Machines 3D apart?
Each CR-6 SE machine is thoroughly inspected and the following updates are made:

Custom Tiny Machines 3D firmware and screen files**
Verification and Validation
Upgraded Power Switch Installed
Countless other quality control checks

Custom Tiny Machines 3D firmware

Wonder what that actually means?

Actually They claim that They fix some common areas of concern with the printer. Remove tinned wire ends, upgrade MB if needed. and a couple other things.

Anyone know if the Metal Hot End from Micro Swiss is worth it?

Depends on what kind of filament you will be using, it's effective with filament that needs high temperature, but you'll also need the community firmware upgrade to be able to get it to get to those higher temperatures to justify the nozzle.

I'm guessing it wouldn't be worth it to me then. I would be planning to use the common filaments, petg or pla. I'm new to 3D printing so would this printer be good for a complete noob?

I am buying it as a noob. It seems to be a very good printer, after it's initial growing pains from the Kickstarter launch etc. Auto bed leveling is helpful, one less thing to deal with as you start the learning process. I like the idea of the service Tiny Machines 3D provides of checking it out prior to shipping, and updating it etc.
