I couldn't find prices that low for Size 10, but that's not surprising. I did notice that the ASICS Gel-Venture 8 [amazon.com] also had prices that were comparable to the 7, at least in my size.

I bought these because everyone always swears by ASICS, but these are super uncomfortable. This is the only pair I've ever bought, so I'm not commenting on the brand as a whole, but this particular pair sucks.

Has anyone had a problem with counterfeit shoes on Amazon? I looked at the reviews and a lot of the low ratings are people saying these are of such a low quality that they must be counterfeit.

Finally, wide sizes. Although 10.5 X-Wides were $49.95, so not a super good deal, but still picked one up as I like the Peacoat/Piedmont Grey color.

Mine too, but they typically do require a longer break-in process than some other brands, which I think puts some people off.

These shoes are several tiers below these brooks. These aren't high end asics. These are the dad shoes you buy at kohls. For similar asics to your brooks look for a good deal on cumulus or nimbus. I often see cumulus on sale for 60 to 70. Super comfy lightweight shoes that you can actually run in.

These usually can be found at Big 5 for $30. Compared to my other Asics these aren't very comfortable and have very bad build quality.

Everyday price at their outlet store. These are their mediocre model. I got a pair and then found 2 other deals. These haven't been worn in almost 3 years. They're bland in every way
