Decent fan for the price, as long as you dont expect too much. One thing it's not quiet at all. Regular fan noise level.

Is this available in all stores (I live in Cincinnati) or some clearance item. The Costco page doesn't say anything about in store purchase (normally it will say, "the product may be available for lesser price in the club"). TIA

Good price got one. no worth driving to Costco for $5 saving imo

getting taxed on the original price, anyone else has the same issue?

FYI, just got this and set it up. Google Chromecast remote volume buttons turn this fan on and off so it's been kind of irritating when changing the volume on the tv and having the fan come on and off at the same time

^ This. Bought two thinking the whisper mode would be truly quiet. I remember one in the store a few months back and I thought this was the same fan so I ordered two. At least one is going back and TBD if one is going to stay to replace an existing fan.

This one is bigger, and much noisier than the one I saw in store. The whisper mode is still a tad quieter than my 12" table fan on low, but not by much and at a lower frequency.
