Used to go there weekly, coupons in hand, buying crap I didn't need. Now, I think I went once or twice this year. Sadly, there is no reason to go anymore.
I'm not renewing my ITC membership. They said if you have ITC membership you automatically get any coupon so you're guaranteed the cheapest price. I bought a pittsburgh handtool yesterday to get out of a tight spot and was charged full price
So utterly confusing... for no reason. Keeps me from knowing if the item I want will actually be discounted... which means I don't bother shopping here anymore.
I think ya'll are now just realized that you have wasted a lot of $ buying junk from HF in the past because they give coupons for free stuff or that you already bought the stuff you needed/wanted back then.
Now, since no more coupons for free stuff or stuff you already got just not worth your time & effort going to HF anymore. Same goes for Fry Electronics (out of business) and so on. Prices are going thru the roof on a lot of junk too so everyone stop & think about the needs & wants of practically everything.
They had a place. Sometimes cheap or one time use tools are needed. Paint sprayers, grinders, gloves, tarps, etc.
Also their automotive tools are fine for most personal use. I still have some heavily used stuff from them going on 10 years now. Although I also have had a lot of stuff trashed.
Now all that sht is priced higher than the same quality Walmart tools and is barely stocked. With no incentive, why waste a trip to just be disappointed.

You have to tell them you are ITC and give them your phone number. Also I have gone back within 30 days and gotten price adjusted.
Don't waste your time. You can buy a better priced items else ware. Went couple month back on Friday 6pm was shocked to see a ghost town. Literally had 4 employees and two customers [I was one of them]. Some sort of tax heaven or something, may be Chinese gov project. I can not see how they are staying in business.

And for higher end tools, Home Depot or Lowe's or Ace. Husky, Kobalt, Craftsman, etc. Especially during Black Friday for hand tools.
Jack stands, floor jacks, transmission jack... Yeah HF is probably okay as coupons were not always available in the past.
