Just picked this up at best buy outlet for 310. Box was damaged at one of the corners but still perfectly packaged inside. Was a few more left at the Dallas location along with a bunch of tc, other bikes. Interestingly, the bikes don't show up open box on the website at any locations.

The Echelon EX3 black is 699 as well now on Amazon. The EX3 can do auto follow with 3rd party app. Qdomyoszwift

The Bowflex C6 is the same bike. The Bowflex C7 has a screen that is limited to the JRNY app but that bike is also on sale.

I was researching them and looking at them at Dick's and so on and just randomly decided to go to Best Buy last minute one night for something and there it was in a box in the middle of the store, they didn't even sell them at that store and it was listed in their inventory for the store if you looked it up in the app, total luck.

I am hoping someone can help me out here. I always biked outside and only used these bikes in a hotel gym where they had the basic stats and a TV. Getting old, need to get back in shape.

But I am worried about these subscriptions, $149/year seems like a lot, I know it's free for first year, but this is a multi year purchase.

The questions I have:
1. how usable is this without the sub?
2. Does the sub or the bike itself give you some specials features like leading you thru workouts that use your real data (vs the hotel that had standard or pulse based ones)?

I guess partially I am thinking, if I am a casual user, but could use decent coaching it if helps, do I need one of these, or just a regular stationary bike and my ipad for watching shows?
