Ehhh, no need to push the coffee snob attitude onto others. Most of which is nonsense.

How does this compare to Folgers regular, Folgers Columbian, or Mcdonalds coffee? Darker or blonder?

So, you're going to buy a fancy $400 coffee maker and put cheap pre-ground Folgers in it? Oh, please don't.

I think McDonald's coffee is a bit better. Maxwell is pretty close to Folgers regular. Maxwell wake up blend has a bit more caffeine I think.

It makes for a fun "two trains"-type math problem though. One guy buys a $10 Mr. Coffee and brews a 10-cup pot (drip grind) of single-origin fair trade organic coffee @ $20/pound, and you use a $300 Technivorm Moccamaster to brew a 10-cup pot of this Maxwell House daily. Approximately how long until you break even with the other guy in using your cheapo coffee?

Haha! bulb

A: Never because the $20# SL28 is tasty no matter how you pour hot water over it and Maxwell will always be dirt, a pig with lipstick

I saw this on sale last month and bought some
This coffee is absolute shit.
And I am not a coffee snob...this is worse than food service coffee

I don't know what they did with this brand, but my gosh it's bad. I used to drink this back in college and for several years when I was living in my first place
They did something to the blend I guess, maybe it was the elimination of using 100% arabica beans
