Similar to those Honeywell disposable fans which many use as white noise machines and end up rattling or leaking oil after a year or so.

with covid you dont want to use a fan unless your in a room on your own it spreads it all over the place

When fans are being used by more than one individual, they may contribute to the spread of
Covid-19 by aiding the travel of respiratory droplets further than they would otherwise.
Boycott all fans!

I don't think many people are using these in large rooms as 9" blades ain't moving all that much air. For me it serves two purposes:

1 - White noise machine in bedroom to drown outside noise
2 - In winter months, sits behind humidifier to assist misting output

These are nice. I have one in each bedroom. If you turn it up towards the ceiling it acts like a ceiling fan the way it circulates the air. Walmart usually carries ones like these for 14.88.
