It's a bit of a hassle. New sealed game can be returned. Unopened not so much. Trade in will only be accepted for unsealed product. You literally have to open it on the spot, in which case there's usually a Kevin who's trying to protect the retailer and denies legitimate trade in. You're stuck with the new unsealed game then.

What else is new?

You are telling us the flaw. What you need to do is check on the app to be sure the trade in value is the same. Then go in store without the game and ask the rep how much it trades in for. Then open it in your car and bring it in after it is confirmed trade in value is good. If rep tells a value too low then just return it. No harm no foul.

You do realize the trade in value will be fixed anytime. I'm just saving some the grief. But go for it if it suits you.

I traded this in yesterday for this price thinking it would be change by today. I got this a free game two weeks ago. Easy MM credit wise.

Who would pay more for new only to trade it in?

I do realize that. Thanks! I already did the trade. Just giving out a good backup plan if it changes then no harm just return. Just trying to help for people that may not.

If it fixed as drop in value tomorrow morning then the opportunity is gone.

If it NOT fixed then jump on it. nothing wrong with making extra credit on the side ESPECIALLY if you live within reasonable distance to GS

Exactly! I do not see the big deal here or confusion from Dyscalculic.
